Caught him!

As of right now, Rory is not a fan of his little sister. The adjustment has been tough on him. He has been the only child for 3 years now and I'm sure its hard to see his Mom and Dad swoon and spend so much time with this little alien. He is frightened of her. Afterall, he does refer to her as "that baby".But today, I caught him looking at her and rocking her. She was gazing at him as well. It was so sweet. This was the first time that I saw him interact with her at all! Priceless!

This is a huge step from just a few days ago when he was frightened by her sticking out her tongue. It was hilarious. He whined for a minute or two until I asked what was wrong, then he mentioned that she had scared him with her tongue. Baha!

Little Lhana

 We had a few visitors today. Nanny, the kid's great-grandmother came as well as my good friend Ellen.

 To give him a little freedom and time away from his sister, Rory went outside to get a little air!



Welcome!

   Rory is now 3 years old and his younger sister Lhana has arrived! Time for these two to start sharing...a blog, that is. Rory had his own blog when he was the only child, but I don't see it feasable to keep his blog updated as well as hers. The information listed on each would be repetitive because I have a good feeling that these two are going to be spending a lot of time together. Join our blog and stay tuned, these little ones grow way too fast!

So, lets get started with a little recap of these youngins...

Don and I met in 2006, got married in 2007, and found out we were expecting our first child, who we now know as Rory, in 2008.

February 5th, 2009 our precious Rory was born. 7lbs 11oz, 20 inches long

June 2011 we found out that we were expecting Baby #2. We had been trying for months, so this news was very exciting for us!! Rory was pretty excited as well!

September 2011 Rory started preschool at North Point Christian Academy! Sniff Sniff! He was a little scared on the first day. But now all  3 of us love his school so much that we have already registered him for the 2012-2013 school year! Go Eagles!

February 22nd, 2012 we welcomed the second love of our lives, Lhana June! Her gender was a surprise to us as well as the whole family, so we are still soaking in the fact that we have added a little girl to our growing family!
